Steel Storm: Burning Retribution is a shooter which could be described as a bulletstorm game but without the 'on rails' part. You fly around, shooting lots of enemies, dodging even more bullets and pick up powerups/new weapons. You could also play this game online co-op, which is a nice feature. The game looks 'OK' and feels 'OK', basically everything about this game is 'OK' but to me the whole experience felt unsatisfying and not enjoyable enough.. awful, awful game. One day a little girl is dancing in a light rain storm. Suddenly, the rain turns into steel. This sets the stage for a grim adventure through a ravaged midwestern town. Eventually, society is driven underground to avoid the steel storm, which kills 99% of the world's population. Features a musical number by P. Diddy.. I like this game. It's not perfect, but at least it seems complete.
